Over time, I may have come to be in two minds about the institution of marriage. But if there is a thing that has stayed consistently enjoyable through the dilemma, it is an incredibly fun but severely tiring Indian Wedding Ceremony.

As far as I can remember, I have been fascinated with the people of cinema. I was part of a family of noted hindi writers, and some of their stories like ‘Sara Aakash’, ‘Rajnigandha’ and ‘Swami’ had already led to the launch of ‘parallel cinema’, a term which I understood only later.
An insight into Indian urban culture, its people – women, men or animals, its habits, perverse or pious. Possibly an abstract reflection of who I am, and what I identify with. At least, for now.
What does “memory” meant to you, a performer and a director himself. Be it, its forgetting or a remembrance. Real or false. new or old. How does one capture its essence in a single wistful gesture or perhaps a narrative? How does one replay a memory with an array or a lack of any emotion, to an audience? How do you remember it, each time you do? How and why does it change?
An intriguing person for me is noteworthy for two reasons. First, the person has made contributions to our immediate cultures— for better or for worse — and two, he/she has had significant expertise and experience related to their professions.
Sure, a portrait might be a photograph – an artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. But with at least 9 emotions to choose from, my intent mostly is to depict the personality through its non verbal expression at that particular moment of time.
These Pictures of optimism, love, romance, joy, music, celebration, friendship, partnership, family, and laughter. I agree, with the loose definition of ‘love’ that ‘Wikipedia’ can provide. But for most of us and me, its indescribable. And I only have pictures to show, that showcase what it may mean to me and to ‘love’ I dared take captive.
Attended by hundreds, and a sold out show, the ‘Rock On for Humanity Concert’ was organised by Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, as a charity event, in aid of the flood victims of Bihar, India.
For those unfamiliar with the business of film-making, it’s easy to underestimate the importance of still photographs. But to a top notch film producer/agency interested in high quality deliverables, it’s a no-brainer.
