What does “memory” meant to you, a performer and a director himself. Be it, its forgetting or a remembrance. Real or false. new or old. How does one capture its essence in a single wistful gesture or perhaps a narrative? How does one replay a memory with an array or a lack of any emotion, to an audience? How do you remember it, each time you do? How and why does it change?
C for Clowns, a play, was a show created completely out of improvisation on the rehearsal floor. Six clowns trace – a day in the life of a circus/theatre performance. The act included mime, pantomime, acrobatics, dance, and the spoken language of “Gibberish”. The Play was based on an actor’s experience – on and off stage.
